Meet Our Chef
Chanelle was born and raised in New York and attended the University of New Haven in West Haven, CT. Upon completion in 2008 she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Investigative Services, a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies with a concentration in Public Affairs, as well a Paralegal Certificate. Her love and PASSION for baking and cooking superceded working in the Criminal Justice field and she moved to the Dallas area to attend the Art Institute of Dallas with the goal of honing her skill of cooking and desiring to start her own restaurant. Hence, she has started Chanelle’s Heavenly Treasures and a restaurant will soon follow.
In addition to the numerous positions within the legal field, Chanelle has a plethora of experience in the food/beverage and hospitality field. Chef Watson’s experience with planning, organizing, directing, and controlling operations activities at various levels has well equipped her for the road less traveled to entrepreneurship and she looks forward to giving all of her clients the ULTIMATE DESSERT EXPERIENCE. “I want to provide my clients with mouth-watering desserts filled with pride that can be enjoyed leisurely and offered to loved ones while entertaining. The clients I come in contact with should have an invaluable experience when interacting with my services. This in turn, can reciprocate word-of-mouth positive experiences throughout the area and beyond.”
Chanelle’s goal is to not take over an event or outshine the ambiance with her desserts but to show that she treasures the clients. “As I offer my clients top notch, unique, and elegant desserts from Chanelle’s Heavenly Treasures, they will feel my passion and pursuit of perfection through their mouth’s delight.” Chef Watson is also a distinguished member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., by way of Fall 2006.
