Shipping
Our confections are made by hand and baked to order. We bake the old-fashioned way without the use of preservatives or stabilizers, so our confections should be enjoyed right away after they have properly defrosted. If you plan to store them, we recommend placing them in an airtight container at room temperature (unless otherwise specified). Chanelle’s Heavenly Treasures’ cupcakes or cakes should NEVER be REFRIGERATED.
When shipping, Our cupcakes are frozen and shipped in insulated containers with dry ice. All orders are sent via UPS Ground, UPS Next Day Air, Next Day Air Saver, and 2nd Day Air* to select states in the U.S. Saturday delivery is available for an additional UPS surcharge of $15.00. Orders shipped 2nd day to select zip codes may arrive within one day. Rates are based on the shipment weight and distance from Ossining, NY to your destination. Please note delivery dates when choosing delivery method. We do not ship same day.
- Orders placed prior to 2:00 p.m. EST generally ship the following business day.
- Orders placed after 2:00 p.m. EST ship within 2 business days.
- Orders placed Friday, Saturday and Sunday will generally ship on Monday.
- Please note orders placed after 2:00 p.m. EST on Sunday may ship on Tuesday.
- Business days do not include weekends or holidays.
You will receive an email confirmation when your order is placed, and an email when your package is shipped. Non-cupcake perishable items can only be shipped no later than 2 Day A.M. delivery, while merchandise can be shipped overnight, 2 Day, or Home or Ground delivery. Perishable orders shipped to NY, NJ, PA, MD, CT, RI and MA may qualify for home or ground shipped rates for items that may reach the recipient in 1-2 business days. We recommend that if it takes more than 2 days to reach your destination that you opt for overnight shipping for perishable items.
We cannot be held responsible for orders delayed by events or incidents beyond our or our carriers control including severe weather conditions and incorrect addresses. Please be sure the shipping address is correct including apartment, floor and unit numbers before completing your order. Corrections to the shipping address received after the order is in transit will result in delays. We do not ship to P.O. (Post Office) Boxes, APO or FPO addresses. When shipping to colleges campuses, please include the street address and the students name and box number. Please see our shipping schedule for additional delivery information.
UPS SHIPPING SCHEDULE
Next Day Air: overnight, morning delivery. Delivers by 10:30 AM (in most areas) to Commercial and Residential addresses. Next Day Air Saturday: overnight delivery, and delivers by noon (in most areas). UPS charges an additional $15.00 for Saturday deliveries.
Next Day Air Saver: overnight, afternoon delivery. Delivers by 3:30 PM or 4:30 PM to Commercial addresses; delivers by 7:00 PM (sometimes even later) to Residential addresses.
Second Day Air: delivers by the end of the 2nd business day. Delivers by 5:00 PM to Commercial addresses; delivers by 7:00 PM (sometimes even later) to Residential addresses.
Second Day Air Saturday: delivers by the end of the day Saturday. UPS charges an additional $15.00 for Saturday deliveries.
Ground: delivers by 5:00 PM to Commercial addresses. Delivers between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM (sometimes even later) to Residential addresses. * Availability of this shipping method may vary.
